Senior Project Manager,
Environmental Compliance & Safety, Inc., Sherman, MS

Primarily responsible for air technical support, project management for compliance and permitting services. Specific duties include preparing Title V, Synthetic Minor, construction, and modification air permit applications; emissions inventories; annual and semi-annual reporting; site investigation reports; monthly continuous compliance reports; Spill Prevention, Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for real estate transactions and cell towers, and miscellaneous regulatory research. Additional responsibilities include providing IT support for office networking and computer needs, gaining working experience in AutoCAD drafting, and utilizing proficiency with Excel, Access, and Front Page web design.

Contracted by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) to primarily prepare Title V and Synthetic Minor air permits for issuance, which also included preparing emissions inventories and interfacing with MDEQ and industry. Obtained proficiency with Excel, Access, and Front Page web design.

Responsibilities included technical work and project management. Specific duties included reviewing air permit applications, performing emission inventories, reviewing and understanding State and Federal regulations, documenting compliance, reviewing annual emission reporting forms (AERF), updating emissions information into the I-steps database, and handling complaints within the State of Mississippi. Developed the first State of Mississippi Title V Operating Permits to be reviewed and approved by the EPA.
