PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2003 – Present      Senior Project Manager, Environmental Compliance & Safety, Inc., Sherman, MS

Primarily responsible for project management for industrial facilities for compliance and permitting services within air, water, and waste programs.  Specific duties include preparing Title V, Synthetic Minor, construction, and modification air permit applications, air emissions inventories, annual and semi-annual air reports, site investigation and audit reports; monthly continuous compliance reports; EPCRA reports, water discharge monitoring reports (DMR), Hazardous Waste reports, Waste Minimization reports, NPDES applications, Spill Prevention, Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Facility Response Plans (FRP), Facility Security Plans (FSP), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Risk Management Plans (RMP), Slug Plans, Waste Minimization Plans, Waste Management Plans, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for real estate transactions and cell towers.

 

2003 – 2000      Private Contractor

Contracted by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) to primarily prepare Title V and Synthetic Minor air permits for issuance, which also included preparing emissions inventories and interfacing with MDEQ and industry.  Obtained proficiency with Excel, Access, and Front Page web design.

 

2000 – 1994     Environmental Engineer-In-Training, Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, Jackson, MS

Responsibilities included technical work and project management.  Specific duties included reviewing air permit applications, performing emission inventories, reviewing and understanding State and Federal regulations, documenting compliance, reviewing annual emission reporting forms (AERF), updating emissions information into the I-steps database, and handling complaints.  Developed the first State of Mississippi Title V Operating Permits to be reviewed and approved by the EPA.
